Grace

Last week, I took my grandchildren to a restaurant. My six year old grandson asked if he could say grace.

As we bowed our heads he said, "God is good, God is great. Thank you for the food, and I would even thank you more if Nana gets us ice cream for dessert. And liberty and justice for all! Amen!"

Along with the laughter from the other customers nearby, I heard a woman remark, "That's what's wrong with this country. Kids today don't even know how to pray. Asking God for ice cream! Why, I never!"

Hearing this, my grand-son burst into tears and asked me, "Did I do it wrong? Is God mad at me?"

As I held him and assured him that he had done a terrific job, and God was certainly not mad at him, an elderly gentleman approached the table.

He winked at my grandson and said, "I happen to know that God thought that was a great prayer."

"Really?" my grandson asked.

"Cross my heart," the man replied.

Then, in a theatrical whisper, he added (indicating the woman whose remark had started this whole thing), "Too bad she never asks God for ice cream. A little ice cream is good for the soul sometimes."

Naturally, I bought my grandchildren ice cream at the end of the meal. My grandson stared at his for a moment, and then did something I will remember the rest of my life.

He picked up his sundae and, without a word, walked over and placed it in front of the woman. With a big smile he told her, "Here, this is for you. Ice cream is good for the soul sometimes; and my soul is good already."

I hope you find some ice cream

Art that will mess with your head

Art that will mess with your head

11 SHIPS OR 3 SHIPS & 8 ARCHES?

DO YOU SEE FACES OR ALL HOUSES ?

How many horses in this picture? Should find 7

PEOPLE OR FACES ?

A PICTURE PUZZLE!

HOW MANY PEOPLE ?

SEE MORE THAN ONE DEER?

Look at the middle column.
Where does it end?

DO YOU SEE FOUR PEOPLE?

Who is the tallest?

A face? . Or, the word 'liar' ?

NEXT:
What do you see here?

Do you see the word 'LIFT'?
Or, a bunch of black splotches ?

GIRLS ARE ABLE TO SPOT THE WORD 'LIFT' EASILY.
MEN FIND IT DIFFICULT TO SEE THE WORD 'LIFT'!!!

NEXT? FIND THE FACES:

If you can't see the baby in the picture, don't give up.

It's really cool when it actually appears.
This is not a joke and ~ NO ~ Nothing is going to jump out at you!

You have to have an open mind.
Don't look for a Baby, and you will see the Baby!
Once you see it you won't see anything else!!!

This is so cool. Do you see the baby?

THE LAST ONE:

THIS WAS COOL!!! PASS IT ON

Jelly Bean Poem

A BAG FULL OF JELLY BEANS
COLORFUL AND SWEET,
IS A PRAYER, IS A PROMISE,
IS A SPECIAL TREAT
MAY THE JOY OF CHRIST'S RESURRECTION
FILL YOUR HEART AND BLESS YOUR LIFE.

RED IS FOR

THE BLOOD HE GAVE.

GREEN IS FOR

THE GRASS HE MADE.

YELLOW IS FOR

THE SUN SO BRIGHT.

ORANGE IS FOR

THE EDGE OF NIGHT.

BLACK IS FOR

THE SINS WE MADE.

WHITE IS FOR

THE GRACE HE GAVE.

PURPLE IS FOR

HIS HOUR OF SORROW.

PINK IS FOR

OUR NEW TOMORROW.

==============================================

here is another version og the poem

LITTLE JELLY BEAN

Little jelly beans, tell a story true
A tale of our Father’s love –

Just for you and me.

Green is for the waving palms
Red is for His precious blood
Black is for the sin He washed from your soul and mine
White is for our hearts now clean from sin
Purple’s for the sadness of His family and friends
And Yellow is for the glory of the day He rose again.

Now you’ve heard the story,
you know what each colour means.
The story of our Father’s love told by some jelly beans.
So every morning take a bean,
they’re really very yummy.
Something for the soul, you see,
and something for the tummy.

================================================
one more
Red is for the blood He gave.
Green is for the grass He made.
Yellow is for the sun so bright.
Orange is for the edge of night.
Black is for the sins we made.
White is for the grace He gave.
Purple is for His hour of sorrow.
Pink is for a new tomorrow.
And handful of jelly beans,
Colorful and sweet,
Is a prayer, a promise,
A loved one’s treat!
Happy Resurrection Sunday!

Pre-Schooler test............. Think about this.

Pre-Schooler test............. Think about this.

Dumber than the fifth graders........ Now it's the pre-schoolers.

A PRE-SCHOOL TEST FOR YOU

Which way is the bus below traveling?
To the left or to the right?

Can't make up your mind? Look carefully at the picture again.

Still don't know?

Pre-Schoolers all over the United States
were shown this picture and asked the same question.
80% of the Pre-Schoolers gave this answer.
"The bus is traveling to the left."

When asked "Why do you think the bus is traveling to the left?"

They answered:
"Because you can't see the door to get on the bus."

How do you feel now ???

I know, me too..
Have a nice day!

Why would God want ME?

Why would God want ME?
~Author Unknown~

I'm not perfect. I have all kinds of problems. I have no ability. I have no
gifts. I'm just not worthy. Why would God want me?

Well, did you know that....

Moses stuttered.
David's armor didn't fit.
John Mark deserted Paul.
Timothy had ulcers.
Hosea's wife was a prostitute.
Amos' only training was in the school of fig-tree pruning.
Jacob was a liar.
David had an affair.
Solomon was too rich.
Jesus was too poor.
Abraham was too old.
David was too young.
Peter was afraid of death.
Lazarus was dead.
John was self-righteous.
Naomi was a widow.
Paul was a persecutor of the church.
Moses was a murderer.
Jonah ran from God's will.
Miriam was a gossip.
Gideon and Thomas both doubted.
Jeremiah was depressed and suicidal.
Elijah was burned out.
John the Baptist was a loudmouth.
Martha was a worry-wart.
Noah got drunk.
Did I mention that Moses had a short fuse?
So did Peter, Paul - well, lots of folks did.

But God doesn't require a job interview for salvation. He's our Heavenly
Father. He doesn't look at financial gain or loss. He's not prejudiced or
partial, not judging, grudging, sassy, or brassy, not deaf to our cry, not
blind to our need. He knows who we are and what we are and loves us in
spite of ourselves

SATAN SAYS, "YOU'RE NOT WORTHY."
JESUS SAYS, "SO WHAT? I AM."
SATAN LOOKS BACK AND SEES OUR MISTAKES.
GOD LOOKS BACK AND SEES THE CROSS.

He doesn't calculate how you failed. It's not even on the record.
Sure, there are lots of reasons why God shouldn't call us. But if we are in
love with Him, if we hunger for Him, He'll use us in spite of who we are,
where we've been, what we have done, or the fact that we are not perfect!
